Meet the Coaches
Two Coaches.
One Standard.
Tennis Pro Project brings together two elite coaches with complementary backgrounds, delivering world-class instruction to the private courts of Greenwich, Darien, Stamford, New Canaan, Rye, Bedford, and surrounding towns throughout Fairfield County & Westchester.
Leonardo Noli
Born in Italy, Leonardo moved to the United States for college, transitioning his competitive playing background into a professional coaching career. Currently, he teaches across Italy, Spain, North Carolina, Connecticut, and New York.
Currently coaching at Old Greenwich Tennis Academy (OGTA), Leonardo balances biomechanical precision with a highly engaging and fun atmosphere on the court. He brings an exacting standard to every lesson, ensuring players improve their technical discipline while genuinely enjoying the game.
Leonardo is a fluent Spanish and Italian speaker and is happy to conduct sessions in either language upon request.
James Cosby
Born and raised in Greenwich, James is the consummate local professional. A four-year varsity player, he began coaching at just 16 and spent years honing his craft at Belle Haven Yacht Club, one of the area's most distinguished clubs. He continues to compete in local tournaments, bringing that competitive edge into every lesson.
Currently coaching at Old Greenwich Tennis Academy alongside Leonardo, James brings energy, discipline, and deep local knowledge to every session. With a genuine passion for teaching across all ages and levels, and a student's mindset sharpened by his Finance studies at the University of Connecticut, he ensures every session is productive and engaging.
